Do you require a background check? Oregon state law requires all gun buyers to go through a state-based criminal background check.

How long will it take? If there are no problems with your records, the background check takes only minutes to complete. If you pass the background check and if we have the item you want on hand, typically, we can complete your purchase on the same day.

I don't live in Oregon, but would like to purchase a firearm. What do I do? If you live outside Oregon, don't worry. You may contact an FFL dealer in your area to arrange firearm transfer. Some common examples of an FFL dealer are gun stores, gunsmiths, pawnshops and shooting ranges.

Why do I need an FFL dealer? A Federal Firearms License holder is needed to transfer ownership of most types of firearms. They will receive the firearms that you order, perform the background check & legally transfer the item to you. We will need the FFL Transfer Dealer to either fax or email a signed copy of their license.

Once you have located an FFL dealer to process your transfer, let the dealer know about the type of firearm you are looking for to make sure it is legal in your area and ask what the fee is for his/her involvement. Fees vary, so you may want to shop around to different dealers for the best price. The national average is $25-$40.

Who should I contact regarding warranty repairs? Gun Zone of America LLC does not provide any warranty repair or service for any products. If you have used a product and a problem develops, you must contact the manufacturer for all repair services. We are happy to email you the phone number/contact information for the manufacturers of all products we carry.
